BART Daily Fee Parking

If you want to use the official BART app or the EZ Rider Program to pay for BART daily fee parking, you will need to link your Clipper card to validate your payment.

Note: You’re not using the value on your Clipper card to pay for BART parking. BART will deduct the daily parking fee from the parking payment method you add to your official BART app profile or from your BART EZ Rider Parking account.

Linking Clipper with the Official BART App

After you download the official BART app, create a profile, and enter a Clipper card number and parking payment method (credit card, debit card, Venmo or PayPal account). At the station, open the official BART app, select parking and follow the prompts to select your station, parking stall number and payment method. After paying for your spot with the app, simply tag your linked Clipper card at the faregate within the time limit the app provides.

Linking Clipper with BART EZ Rider Parking

Set up a BART EZ Rider parking account with your Clipper number and a credit or debit card or a pre-tax parking card. Once your account is set up, BART will mail you a hangtag for your car. At the station, just tag your Clipper card at a Parking Validation Machine, which triggers BART to deduct the daily parking fee from your BART EZ Rider Parking account.

Note: If you ever replace your Clipper card, be sure to add your new card serial number to your official BART app profile or BART EZ Rider Parking account.
