Vine accepts the following on a Clipper card:

  • Cash value: For single rides. You need a cash value balance of at least $2 on your Clipper card to board.

  • Local 31-day pass: Unlimited rides on local routes for 31 days.

  • BART 31-day pass: Unlimited rides on Route 29 Express and local routes for 31 days.

Clipper knows when to give you free and discounted rides when you transfer.

Vine transferring to Vine
Free ride within 1 hour of boarding first Vine bus.
FAST transferring to Vine
Free ride within 1 hour of boarding FAST.
SolTrans transferring to Vine
Free ride within 1 hour of boarding SolTrans.
